This also makes removing the handcuffs easier and more convenient for both parties. However, there is also a potential disadvantage. As there are a total of four keyholes, they are also easier for the handcuffed person to reach. This can increase the risk of tampering attempts. However, as the locks are designed to be very secure, the risk of this happening is comparatively low.
